Ecommerce in Moodle

Dear friends,

can somebody help us to take a difficult decision, as follow. Our company provides training services and we are going to implement an e.learning system where we can introduce all our distan-learning courses and we can allow the clients to buy them online.

Our figures are small, compared to those of a University. We are talking about a number from 50 to 100 distant learning courses but in 3 different languages.

In order to realize such a project we have analyzed that we'd need:

1) a content area, to well describe the courses, upload short demo-video, photo gallery, help functions;

2) a checkout system to allow the applicants to pay online with paypal and store their purchases in a private area

3) an e.learning area that we are committed to realize with Moodle.

We wonder if Moodle provides a sufficient and attractive area to include all the above mentioned functions or if we should integrate a Cms+Ecomeerce+Moodle? Reading around we've understood that moodle have very simple functions to describe the list of courses and all their details and a very simple e.commerce system.

Anybody can help us? anybody knows similar experiences?

Thank you indeed

Mark
