I am about to upgrade our Moodle installation and want to download the latest release (Moodle 1.5 / MOODLE_15). When I click on the link on the downloads page (.tgz or .zip) I get the url
http://download.moodle.org/download.php/stable15/moodle-1.5.tgz
with the message
"Sorry, but the file you are looking for was not found!"
By removing the filename in the URL I was rediretced to
http://download.moodle.org//stable15/
and can pick out a file to download (moodle-latest.tgz), but I wanted to point out that there appears to be a problem with the downloads.

Just to confirm same for me. Both .zip and .tgz downloads for 1.5 are broken. All the other stuff seems ok.
