To clarify, course completion can also be set for ANY of the defined conditions are met, not just for ALL. But I don't think that helps in Gerald's case. I think there is a functionality gap between the course completion activity completion/restrict access feature sets. Dependencies on grade category values, and ability to define "smart conditions" (x of these 10 items) for completion might be nice.
Gerald, you probably need to stick to activities that can be automatically assessed a grade with an auto-graded question type (Lessons and Quizzes). Activity completion won't be robust enough for your scenario.
You could also have a separate course for the third component you describe and use the course grade as the criteria for course completion. Use the criteria where the course grade reaches x% (whatever 10 points out of your total possible turns out to be), then the course is complete.
