TC: Copying Conditions Default Values from before

TC: Copying Conditions Default Values from before

HI Gordon,

When I was I your server and setting up my second TaskChain, I tried to copy the pre- and post-conditions by selecting all of the boxes. When I do this by applying selected default values, I get a white screen. This occurs in my Moodle too. Sometimes it is nice copy down from before and then change a few things as necessary. Interestingly I set up post-conditions for task 1 and selected copy it for all of the tasks not only did it copy them, it also copied the pre-conditions even though I had not selected the pre-conditions column. No big deal, but does not seem to work completely correctly.

Thanks,

Jeff

Does this mean you select ALL the check boxes in the screenshot, and then select "Apply selected default values" and then "Go"

I just tried that on my server and it worked as expected - that is to say all the conditions were appllied to all the tasks.

I need more help to be able to reproduce this issue.

regards
Gordon

Hi Gordon,

I started making a new simple math TaskChain on your server. Went to edit tasks with this screen:

Interestingly the early pre-condition  did not present itself as before in my earlier post. I checked these boxes:

I clicked go to get the white screen:

I did not edit the tasks any further.

Thanks,

Jeff

Thanks Jeff. The exact error was:

  • Call to a member function format_conditions() on a non-object
    in
    mod/taskchain/edit/form/helper/tasks.php on line 544

I have fixed that error now. Please update your TaskChain module when you have time.

Gordon
