New User Role - Only with User Enrolling Privilege

Hi all Moodle experts,

I want to create a new user role which can be assigned to a course category or sub-category and this user role can only do self enrollment (as a teacher) and also can enroll others to the particular course module as the teacher.

Can anybody suggest what are the;

  • Capabilities (from 500+ capability list)
  • Permission level (Not set, Allow, Prevent, Prohibit)

This is not actually part of the role. You should just clone the Teacher role and make any modifications you need. Then go and look at  the 'Allow role assignments' tab on the 'Define roles' page. This table sets up what roles can assign other roles.

Thanks Miller for your reply and I know this option. However, I want to know what is the privilege (Capabilities) that can do self enrollment as the teacher under specified category.
