HTML Editor Moodle 2.5.2

Hi, We've been using moodle 2.5.2 for about a year now and suddenly the text editors have stopped appearing. The text editor appears when I use firefox (on a mac), clear cache and refresh the page. But the editor does not work in the first try in firefox or any other browser (chrome, safari on a mac). 

Any help you guys could provide would be great!

This may be caused by something unrelated to the editor crashing and stopping on javascript on the page. Try turning on the Javascript Console in the Developer tools menu of one our your browser, and look for a javascript error.
