I would really like to have collapsible grade book categories in Moodle. I opened a tracker to illustrate what I mean:

I don't know if this can be done by theming Moodle in certain ways, or this needs to be an addition to the Moodle code.

Pragmatically, the best place for this is the gradebook renderer so that all themes benefit.

Note: In the forums you just have to type the tracker issue number, such as MDL-43811 and it will be auto-linked.
