I have graded and commented on a batch of work. The students can see the comments but not the marks. I am an administrator and using 2.6. Any ideas, please?

Check your feedback options in the assignment settings. I would guess that you are missing some options. You need to make sure that Marks are selected during and after the attempt (in case the assignment is not closed yet).
Thanks Emma, I realise i was not looking in the right place. The grade (number) shows in the student's gradebook but not in the Submission status for the activity, although that would be good, since the comments can be read there if a developer is reading this!
