There is obviously something wrong with your French language files. The "Calendar" block on the right of your screenshot should be called "Calendrier" (in French) and should display the month and date, not %B %Y. Looks like your (French) lang files are corrupted.

Is that the "normal" French lang pack or have you customized it locally?

I would suggest the following:

  1. In Admin, totally remove the French language pack.
  2. Empty all caches.
  3. In Admin, re-install the French language pack.
  4. Empty all caches.

Thanks for ur reply Mr. joseph

No, i haven't  customized it locally.

I downloaded this language from here http://download2.moodle.org/lang16/

and i directly placed this fr folder  into moodledata/lang  i checked admin language  settings  it displaying installed language list.

Is there any other way to install new languages . i want Danish, Dutch, and French . this lang are not available in all language list.

Guide me for this .

Which version of Moodle are you using?

The "normal" way to install language packs is not to download them from http://download2.moodle.org/lang16/ but to go to     Site administration ► Language ► Language packs and install language packs from there.
