I've just developed a Group self selection patch for the Choice mod. - only works with Moodle 1.5 - the "update" page needs a bit of finishing - it doesn't disable areas of the page correctly when "groupselfselection" is enabled.
to test, apply patch by overwriting your mod/choice folder with the files I have included in the patch. make sure you have groups enabled and you have a few groups in your course - and then create a choice. (you will need to "enable" groupselfselection) - the lang file and extra help files are missing at the moment as well - I'll get round to them sometime tomorrow.
Don't install this on a production site yet! - I'm keen for a few people to test it and give me some feedback before I finalise it....
