We have an intranet running as a custom CMS. Now that we also run Moodle for courses, I'd like to use it, for example forums, to extend the capabilities of the intranet.
Since users have to authenticate when they log in to our intranet CMS, it would be nice if I could transfer them to Moodle without having to login again. Is such a thing possible?
I presume I could try to hack (simulate) the 'post' request sent to Moodle from the login page. In other words, users would be authenticated second time but not really know about it. Has anyone tried such a feat?
