Journal (plugin)

Recently im seening a problem with the journal module.

When i pogram a journal to close by example in 30 days, thats close fine ant the finish day;  But when the journal is programmed to be closed by example two or three months later, the journal is not closed in the programmed date.  Is necessary close the journal manually.

How can i search the possible reason of the problem?
