Automated Backup doesnt seem to be running

Hi Guys,

Back in May when I set up our Moodle 2.3 we scheduled an automated backup to happen which did the first time. I have gone back in yesterday and found that it has not done one since.

If I check the logs the first backup was successful and there is a time set for the next one to occur but it never happened as the actual backed up files have not changed.

What is the first thing I should be looking at here to try and find out why this is happening ? I am reading about a setting for courses to be skipped but I dont see anything that refers to this in my automated backup settings.

Okay, so it seems that I had the backup location set to our designated folder and also the default location (which is a valid option). When I changed the location to backup to just our designated location the backup worked.

Does anybody know why this would make a difference?
