TaskChain missing options, error reading from database.

Hi Gordon,

Was trying out TaskChain again. A bunch of options are not available at present. Here is a screen shot:

TaskChain Edit

There are no options for adding an entry or exit page even if Yes is selected. Time, Attempt, and Security restriction options are absent. Cannot set the grade value for the TaskChain. The grade seems to be 15 by default.

When the TaskChains in the Activities Block is clicked on an "Error reading from database" occurs. Sometimes the reading error occurs when setting up task conditions but sometimes not.

Hi Jeff,
thanks for pointing these two issues out.
I think I have fixed them in the latest release of TaskChain, so please upgrade and let me know.

Hi Gordon,

Thanks the rapid response. This release took care of the issues above, even the database error.

There is a major "ah but"; however. Before the upgrade, if a student started the chain and then backed out, the student would start at the next HotPot or the last one in the chain depending on where he or she was upon retrying. Now the student is greeted with "Start new chain attempt." This the problem I had before.

Hi Jeff,
could you download the latest version of TaskChain and see if it works better for you? If you still have problems, please duplicate the TaskChain on my research server, so that I can see the exact setting you are using.
