my moodle redirect to https and trailing slash

I find something strange on moodle using https.

I have working https on my apache configuration. When it comes on moodle, there is something strange happening. When accessing http://moodle.domain.com/my, it redirects to https://moodle.domain.com/my/.

My Moodle version is 2.4.4+

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I've fixed this issue now. It is something to do in my apache configuration for SSL.

I'm having this exact problem, but it also occurs when I perform certain save actions, such as adding a site administrator.  The save action is completed, but the return page is https instead of http. 

Can you elaborate on how you corrected this?
