Scheduler 2.5 (in preparation)

Dear Scheduler users,

I'm in the process of preparing a Moodle 2.5 release of Scheduler.

Apart from the usual adaptions to API changes, I have also (finally) rewritten at least a part of the module's code, in particular involving the forms for adding/updating slots. There's not too much change in functionality or added features, but I hope to update Scheduler to use improvements of the Moodle APIs (since 1.8 or so) and to bring it more in line with the core code.

While I hope that this rewriting of code improves the long-term maintainability of the module, I'm fully aware that it has likely introduced some bugs as well.

Therefore, I'd be very grateful if you could test Scheduler 2.5 before I release it. You can do this by checking out the "master" branch from the github repository ( https://github.com/bostelm/moodle-mod_scheduler/ ).

Please report any errors here in the forum or (preferably) on the Moodle Tracker.

Best wishes
Henning

Scheduler 2.5 released

Scheduler 2.5.0 (for Moodle 2.5 upwards) has now been released in the plugin DB. For those who take the code directly from github: Please use the MOODLE_25_STABLE branch.

Please continue to report any bugs on the Tracker. As always, I will normally release minor fixes on github only.

Note that I have removed all non-english language strings from the code. These can now be edited on AMOS, and are then included in the usual Moodle language packs. I believe that at this point, translations of Scheduler are available in French, Russian, and Ukrainian.

Hi!

We have reacently updated to Schedular 2.5 and realize that teh teacher or administrator has no longer possibility to unenrolea student/re-book appontments for the learners.  They can appoint, but the X-button that drops the apointment for a specific leraner is gone.

In the view below I would like to drop Jonatan. How do I do that?

Hello,

this problem has recently been resolved in the latest version of the 2.5 branch - available from github only (at the moment). To unenrol a student, you can now set the selection box back to the default entry ("Välj..." in your case).
