SCORM 1.2, 2004, or Tin Can

SCORM 1.2, 2004, or Tin Can

I have been having a few problems with some SCORM packages created in Articulate Storyline working correctly in Moodle. I was wondering what the recommended method of packaging these is. Should I be using SCORM 1.2, or SCORM 2004.

Also, is there any availability of packaging these and having them work with Tin Can API as I have been hearing a lot about that...?

You should use SCORM 1.2 (not 2004). Tin Can API is not yet supported by moodle, to my knowledge. I don't use Storyline, but I use Studio 09 and my 1.2 packages work fine in moodle and track correctly.

Hi Whitney,

Mia is right. You might want to read this: SCORM supported versions.

Thanks very much Mia and Guillermo. That document is a great reference on SCORM issues and I'll be sure to study it and its links.
