hi everybody

i'm facing this error while install moodle in my site

and i don't have .htaccess file AT ALL

The second error says 'Disk Quota exceeded'.  Have your purchased a plan on the remotely hosted system that has very limited space?  Check with your provider.

The first error explanation: when installing via web interface, the moodledata directory will be created if it doesn't already exist, but the web user of the system (shared) you are using does not have the access rights to create the folder ... nor the .htaccess file.  So, in your home directory, manually create a 'moodledata' folder.  When you get to form to set the data directory path/name use the same path: /home/#####/moodledata.

Moodle has a requirement to install the data directory outside of document root ... which on your shared system is /home/customer#/public_html/.

If that fails, contact hosting provider to see what they suggest for a work-around.
