I've worked out that the problem seems to be that the floating jstimer load AFTER the questions load. This is problematic for most of our quizzes which are quite long and it often takes around 2 minutes to load.
This means that even though 2 minutes or so may have passed, the timer
still says the quiz has just started. Therefore, if students submit
their results with less than 2 minutes (according to the timer) to spare, the students are given a '0' mark because moodle thinks they have submitted their questions overtime.
Could someone please suggest a way to get the timer loading and counting down before the questions load?
Would really appreciate any help.
