Just upgraded from 2.3.2 to 2.4.5. Click to add a new course gives the following error:

Warning: require_once(C:\Inetpub\vhosts\srahandbook.co.uk\httpdocs\logdev/lib/editor/tinymce/plugins/cache/lib.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\srahandbook.co.uk\httpdocs\logdev\lib\editor\tinymce\classes\plugin.php on line 400 Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\srahandbook.co.uk\httpdocs\logdev/lib/editor/tinymce/plugins/cache/lib.php' (include_path='C:\Inetpub\vhosts\srahandbook.co.uk\httpdocs\logdev/lib/zend;C:\Inetpub\vhosts\srahandbook.co.uk\httpdocs\logdev/lib/pear;.;./includes;./pear') in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\srahandbook.co.uk\httpdocs\logdev\lib\editor\tinymce\classes\plugin.php on line 400

User/Permissions issue?

Error  Access to the path 'C:\Inetpub\vhosts\srahandbook.co.uk\httpdocs\Portals\_default\Logs\LogFailures.xml.resources' is denied. The Windows User Account listed below must have Read/Write Privileges to this path.

It did not list a user below as it says above - am assuming that's anyone who hits the site.

Not a Windows user, but a quick Google Found this:

I've made the changes on the server as per the link but still get the following error

Edit course settings

Again ... not a Windows user, but thinking outloud ... upgrade from 2.3 to 2.4.5 was accomplished how?  Steps you took.

This latest error ... No such file or directory ... indicates it can't find something.

In /lib/editor/tinymce/plugins/cache/ does there exist a lib.php file? or does the cache folder exist?

This could be a result of unzipping m24 code files in the logdev (that is your Moodle root code directory?) directory which is not a 'clean' install of m24 files/folders.

And, please be warned ... am NOT a Windows user, just trying to read errors and make 'educated guesses'.  Any Windows ace out there?  Feel free to jump in and correct this linux guy!

I've checked the director and no the file does not exist.

I have been through the installation several times - restoring the databases, and programs and starting from scratch.  Each time I delete the original programs and extract the zip files to the logdev directory.

After upgrading - in the directory lib/editor/tinymce there is a file lib.php but down the directory cache there are only these folders

I've just upgraded from 2.3.2 to 2.4.5 and cannot add users or courses.  Please see previous posts.

Is there a Windows person out there who can help.

Thanks.

First, please describe the Windows platform that you're trying to install Moodle on. E.g. IIS or Apache, MSSQL or MySQL or...

Hello,

The Windows platform is IIS and MySql.

Prior to the upgrade I could add both users and courses.

Firstly, I upgraded from 2.3.2 to 2.5.  But I could not add courses or users.  So I went back to backup and reinstated 2.3.2 all was working.  I then upgraded to 2.4.5 (as an interim) - but still the same issues.

Which version of Windows?

What actually happened when you tried to "add courses or users" in 2.5? Did you get an error?
