Hi,
I am setting up a site to assist remotely located researchers to collaborate. I am also using the site as a place for various online bits of research and course development that I am doing.
My humble (and I mean that) beginnings are at http://discors.jcu.edu.au/
I am having trouble conceptualising how to adapt some of the Moodle modules to my purpose. In particular, I want the users of the Research Groups to be able to upload documents and work on these collaboratively. I am thinking of some sort of document versioning system here. EG- I upload my rough draft of a grant proposal, you download it and make changes then upload the changed version to the site, which I then work on... and so on.
Can anyone suggest which current module might best suit this purpose? Or, does anyone know of such a document versioning system that is in development for Moodle and that I can try out?
Many thanks.
Moodle is great. I am having problems, though, getting a clear picture of how to modify the look and feel so that it doesn't seem so much like an online teaching site. Any links on how to come to grips with this aspect would be much appreciated.

Any advice on which module is best for a document versioning system?
