There is a problem in uploading student assignments as some of the students have already uploaded the assignment but teachers can not see them in the first page as it says no attempts have been made for this assignment.
Your description here is a little vague - could you explain which version of the plugin you are using (the Moodle 2.2 assignment type version, or the newer submission/feedback plugins), what version of Moodle you are on and step-by-step instructions for exactly how to reproduce the problem?
I am using moodle 2.1 and using upload PDF assignment plugin.
everything is working fine but when the users upload the assignmnets , it does not count the number of attempts. i will attach the screen shot here
