I've accidentally erased the students' assignment files. I have a backup of the entire moodle folder. THis is is moodle 1.9. Where are these files?
Think they are in the moodledata folder, course ID folder, metadata folder. There one would see numbered folders (assignment ID numbers) and contained therein more numbered folders which are the student ID numbers and their assignment docs which were uploaded.
If you've not been off into the moodledata folder, then problem might be they aren't appearing? but the folders/files are physically there.
Suggest turning on debugging then go into something related to assignments to see what is displayed (if anything).
