New flatfile in 2.5

Has anyone used this in 2.5?  It seems in the image in the help docs you can now under some circumstances get emails sent to students on enrolment.  I don't think this is true yet for account creation.

I'm just pondering the next upgrade.  Are there any gotchas for our needs.

I haven't used this in 2.5 although I recall trying out flat file enrolment into  a course in  2.3 and getting the emails to work - the email part isn't new,  I don't think.
