Hi Aditi,

If you are seeking for a core web GUI in Moodle 2.4 for exporting/importing role definitions, unfortunately at the present time such an interface is not yet available. You may find more informations in the tracker, and eventually vote for the issue: https://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-17081
