if I have a production moodle on a hosted server and I want to upgrade from 2.4 to 2.4.2; do I only need to copy all the files over and then install like I did when I did the initial install? The documentation is not clear to me.

Hi DeWayne, it is good to see you again.

I just did this upgrade the other day.  I made this video showing how I did it on my GoDaddy VPS, for Gary L. because he had a similar question.  I don't know if it will help you, but maybe so.  So here it is.

To be safe, make sure that you backup your mySQL database and your moodledata directory before upgrading.

You will see that I use mostly SSH and my own script files.  Let me know if you want a copy of these script files.

The upgrade is just a little different than an initial install.
