hey all, 

i was wondering if anyone had an alternative to moodle global search for moodle 2.4.

i am trying google custom search but it keeps giving me "no resultss"...anyone know somethign else or how can i resolve this

Try the Zoom Search engine from Wrensoft. They have an article on How to create a search engine for your Moodle site. We're busy testing it and so far we're quite impressed.

And vote for MDL-31989 so that the Moodle search gets fixed...

Luis, 

I curious to know how Wrensoft is working for you. Is Wrensoft succesfully indexing PDF, DOC and other files you have on your Moodle site?
