Upfront, please excuse my lack Moodle knowledge (i am new to this feild). Unfortunately our developer has left me high and dry, without contact. Orginally we had the message "Config table does not contain version, can not continue, sorry" so now we are trying to solve this problem after it working fine for over a year. So my issue is i need to source where my database is set up in using putty. Assistance would be greatly appreciated.

You can easily find the location of the database your Moodle site is using by looking at the config.php file in the root of your Moodle code directory - it will show the name and path of the database as well as the database user
