Importing/Adding Students' Journal Entries (1.9)

For a teacher, is there a way to add a journal entry for a student?

I was on a beta-test for 2.3 at my institution. Had several issues (mostly with the instution's beta server) and decided to move back to 1.9. It seems that I can't import back the user data from the 2.3 site into the 1.9 site. So I end up copying and pasting the content I had put on the 2.3 site.

For journal entries, I'd like to put them all in their right place but it seems like I can't paste in content for students' journal entries. I could possibly log in as each student and edit entries this way, but I've had issues with this, in the past and it'd be even more time-consuming than it already is.

Any suggestion?

Hi Alex,

If you can use an admin account you can probably log in as admin and log in as the student, you would save some time but is also time consuming, I can think of anything else right now other than this (or direct database contents edition)
