I see the Attendance module is working OK.  (https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=218325#p957097)

I'm just finding out how attendance works and whether it needs the block.

Does the block work for Moodle 2.4?

And I may have asked this before: any plans to get the attendance module into the plugins database?

The block does work in 2.4 - however, it is not needed.  You can just use the activity.  

Not sure about the plugins database.
