Alternatives to TinyMCE?

Alternatives to TinyMCE?

Hello everyone,
in the standard Moodle package there are Plain Text and TinyMCE. What about other wysiwig text editors? I really like Redactor (http://imperavi.com/redactor/), and I'd like to use it. How do I go about integrating it into Moodle? I am prepared to do some PHP development and provide the results to the community as plugin. Right now the plugin category for editors is empty (bar the default TinyMCE).

Thanks!

I'm having really big problems using TinyMCE with iOS (both Safari and Chrome).

Redactor seems very fine;
please, please please add it to moodle 2.4

Infinite thanks in advance.

P.S. Here Installation docs.

Edit: There is a license fee

Thank you, I am more than aware of other rich text editors, I even wrote one myself for a project. But I need someone to point out documentation for integrating such editor into Moodle. I'd like to know if there's a guide before I begin reverse engineering TinyMCE.

I am ready to do PHP work and I think we can solve the licence fee issue, too. But I need some guidance on how I go about adding another text editor to Moodle.
