Here's an illustration of my problem:
I'm sure it's because I unzipped my new Moodle files into a folder named htdocs/moodle23 as that was where the original ones were, but it worked ... mostly. I've tried manually updating the config.php file but that didn't work. Is there a basic setting fix for this one I'm missing, please? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Try going to Settings>Site administration>Front page>Edit settings and change the name from Moodle 2.3 to Moodle 2.4

However, now that you know how to change your site name, do you think you might want to use a better site name instead of this boring "Moodle 2.4." Maybe something like "Fiona Thurn's Great Courses", or a name associated with your school?
