In the past few days, access to moodle.org has been either very slow or totally impossible. I am fed up with seeing the infamous message:

You're not alone - I'm fed up with seeing the message too! The last I heard is that we're waiting on Amazon support.
The odd thing with this problem is that I can't access 'Using Moodle' by going to the Moodle.org home page but I can access it no problem by clicking on forum posts in my email and getting brought here. Also it only works for me in FireFox.

For around 5 days now at this time of day/night moodle.org has been down for long periods. I'm sure the people at HQ are working on the problem. Would just like them to tell us what it is? Then we'll find it easier to be patient.

PS Should I create an issue in the Tracker?
Hi Glenys. Apparently the hosts Amazon (not the book people!) changed their harddisks on their servers at the weekend and it's affected Moodle - there is a tracker entry here http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDLSITE-2010
