We have Moodle 1.9.5+ running with LDAP authentication. We encountered a problem when specifying admins. If you specify admins from an OU (e.g. OU=IT,OU=Users,DC=domain,DC=com) or a specific user (e.g. CN=Name,OU=IT,OU=Users,DC=domain,DC=com) then it works, but if you specify a security group (e.g. CN=MoodleAdministrators,OU=IT,OU=Users,DC=domain,DC=com) it doesn't work. I tried to change the security group from Global to Universal to Domain Local but it still doesn't change anything.
Can somebody give me an advice?
