session problem in moodle 2.2.1+

Dear all,

we are facing a session issue in server .session is not getting set some times .login/index asks for login agin,even if active session exists .logout is not working . different browsers it acts differently 

having some trouble in fixing .

What's your operating system? Database? PHP version? How do you know it isn't working? Is this with database sessions or with file-based sessions? Have you turned on debugging? Have you checked your web server logs?
