We have one course in which the gradebook is only listing 4 students per page. This isn't an issue in any other courses. I went into the settings and preferences and marked it to list 30 students per page. But it still will not change from 4. What setting am I missing that caused this to happen...any insight?

This happens when there are a lot of assignments. The gradebook shrinks to allow for the input of a lot of grades (which is limited by a php setting). You can fix this by upping the number of input variables in php. max_input_vars is the setting, I believe.

That number should be 2 times the largest number of students times the larges number of grade items and 4 times if anybody uses quickfeedback. It can grow pretty large, ours is set to 20,000. Default is 1,000.
