Has anyone successfully managed to get files in File system repo working as aliases/shortcuts? There is a tracker entry here MDL-34185 and I wondered if anyone else had experienced the same?

But my issue was with the Dropbox (not File system) repo. I just posted the details on the tracker issue in question.
I wasn't aware that dropbox worked with aliases?
Well, it gives me the alias option whenever I select a file from the Dropbox repo, so either it's supposed to work and does not, or the option is there when it shouldn't be!
