Fatal error: $CFG->dataroot is not writable, admin has to fix directory permissions! Exiting.
 
I get this error on moodle site when given Moodle database on remotely accessible.
 
I have read & write permissions on Moodledata folder & database unsder program data.
 
Does any have this same issue.

Hi Shreyas

You don't say what your operating system is but, if it's a Linux setup, make sure that SELinux is disabled.
