I have Moodle 2.2 and as an admini get the categories display in the navigation block but any learner and teacher does not, they just get a list.
I looked in the settings for a teacher and learner to see if I had blocked anything but I havent.
Has anyone else come across this problem?
It's a feature of Moodle - 1.9 and 2. I always figured it was because, as admin you have access to loads of courses so you would have a huge list of them -therefore you only get the category list. A student or teacher, once enrolled in at least one course, gets just the course(s) they work in. (Before then they see only categories too as potentially they could be enrolled into any of them)
If you get enrolled as a teacher or student in addition to admin then you will get the my courses list too.
