Hi,

We are running moodle 2.1 on a windows server 2008 R2, IIS 7.5, My sql and sql 2005 on a hypverV server

I backed up the sql database with the dump command, did a site backup. Moodle 2.1 files are installed in wwwroot folder. I copied this to a backup folder and donwloaded the moodle 2.2.X stable version and then extracted it to the wwwroot folder. I copied the config.php and htaccess folder back from the backup. I have backed up the moodledata folder.  I could not find how to put the site in maintenance mode. I also read somewhere it is not necessary for upgrades. I thought I would login to site administration folder and initiate the notification to start the upgrade. But, I am getting 403 forbidden error even on the server conencting to localhost. I enabled directory browser and i can see the list of directories but not the moodle site.
