Group of students in same course

Hi there. I would like to ask a question that maybe easy to setup but I would need help on.

  • I have 3 groups of students (each group is separate and can't see each other)
  • Each group is enrolled in the same course.
  • Each group has a trainer, the trainers can only see their group and the discussion/ quiz results from their respective group.

How do I set this up in Moodle?

You need to look at Separate groups mode, and you probably need to change the role for trainers, because the default 'Teacher' role has the capability to 'Access all groups' - but you can edit the capabilities of a role in Moodle.
