Site setting for forum

Hi

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I want to be able to set a global change for all users of our system.

  1. Emails from forums is set to an email digest
  2. Unread forum postings are marked as such

I know I can change at a user level but want it set so the users don't have to do.

Hi,

For  your first question, check moodle forum settings.

For your second question, you can achieve it by editing the core code (user/editadvanced.php)....and set as default what u like.
