Hello to everyone! I have installed Moodle 2.2.1 (stable) with Xampp 1.7.5. When I create my site, I want to upload it in a server. But I have a problem. I want to allow to my students to enroll themselves into my course. I tried to do it, but when I logout as an admin, I can't see "Is this your first time here?", which allows students to enrol. Is this caused because I have Moodle locally and how I can repair this? I think that I have tried all the ways and nothing changes... Thanks in advance!

I think that what you are looking for is related to the authentication plugin. If you have your students enrolled through an externat database, you can add instructions going to the "Authentication common settings" as an administrator in: Settings > Site administration > Plugins > Authentication > Manage authentication > Instructions.
If you need students to enroll creating their accounts manually, enable "email based self registration" and select Settings > Site administration > Plugins > Authentication > Manage authentication > self registration - "email based self registrations".
