Hi, I would like to put a survey in moodle and thought it would be possible to use quiz and not use graqding but it seems that is not possible - or can anyone tell me what i am missing? I can't seem to ignore grading as i set up the questions. Using moodle 2.1

Using Quiz for this purpose is not a good idea.
If you want to conduct a survey in your Moodle courses, I recommend using one of the two survey-like activities that are available to Moodle: Feedback or Questionnaire.
Feedback is part of standard moodle 2.1 distribution, whereas Questionnaire is a 3rd party plugin that you have to install on your moodle site (available from the new plugins repository here).

Just set the grade for each question, and the total grade for the quiz, to 0.
