OK

Just looking at the webservices componant of Moodle 2.2 and have no idea how it works blush

Could this be used for authentication and enrolment from the outside?

Does it work in such a manner that if created correctly could allow external organisations to access and add there own user enrolments and authentication.

I mean can it work that way round?  Could i build a web service and let other organisations create there own access to this web service?

Are there any examples of such cases? or code that would be similair?

Does anyone else use Moodle web services in such a manner?

Sorry newbie on such matters?

A lot of questions I know

Many Mnay thanks for any answers at all

Hi Albert,

if you speak about something like oauth authentication ("Connect with Google" / "Connect with Facebook" are some of the most famous oauth implementartion) for web service:

recently Hubert shared a two-legged oauth 1.0 implementation which is a very interesting example of oauth authentication in the web service. I didn't look too much at it but it looks good.

I suppose we will be aiming for a three-legged Oauth 2.0 implementation in core. I hope for Moodle 2.4.
