To do this I had to either pretty much wait for all blocks, sections and content to load before I could add one. Then they all reloaded before I could add another. Then again and so on. I set it to only display one section at a time but then I had to wait for reloads when switching sections!
For what was a simple copy and paste exercise I spent more time waiting than I did working, and then it struck me ....
If you click on resources in the activity block you get a filtered view
.It would be sooooo nice if this had a 'Turn Editing On' button which, when activated, provided you with a 'Add a resource ...' drop down box at the bottom of each section and also the standard icons next to each resource (move, delete, update and the like).
Obviously editing could not be done in context of the course but for bunging in loadsa activities in one go this would be super fast and super
. Also, a similar principle could be applied to the filtered assignments view.
