Preventing Glossary showing in certain area's

Preventing Glossary showing in certain area's

We currently have a global glossary on the front of the Moodle site that all courses have access to. However, I want to stop certain courses using it, i.e. I have a whole course dedicated to quizzes (around 50 of them) and I don't want the glossary link to give away the answer. Is there a way to do this?

You cannot stop "certain courses using a front page glossary". However, if your need is to prevent students from accessing a glossary (front page or course glossary) from within a quiz, that is possible in Moodle version 2.

In Moodle 2:

Settings -> Quiz administration -> Filters -> Glossary auto-linking: OFF

Hi Joseh

But I need the OFF in auto-linking only in the quizzes, not in the rest of the pages.

That's exactly what it does. Have you tried it?
