Hello

I've got three Moodle servers running on the same VPS host. All three are 2.1+.

All three have multiple Wiki some have been migrated from 1.9 other created since the migration. The roles definitions are similar between all three sites. On two site the wiki work fine. On the third all Wikis report "Error reading from database". Debugging does not appear to surface any more details on the error.

Any clues on what to look at as the source? Only one single message in this forum for the error and most of the tracker info - I find it impossible as a non programer to understand the status  - are referenced to much earlier versions.

I discovered the problem was inconsisitent character encoding in the Wiki modules tables. The mixture of utf8_general and utf8_unicode was causing the problem .
