Maybe so, but I don't know how. Here is what I would do.
I would create your normal quiz. Then, I would create a "bonus" quiz that contains more challenging questions. I would set this to "extra credit" in the gradebook. You can set the points to something appropriate for you extra credit ideas. Using this approach, the bonus quiz would be optional, and the points would only be added to the students grade based upon their success.
