I realize this topic has been addressed before, see http://tracker.moodle.org/browse/MDL-27804 but somehow we are still experiencing the problem.
We are on Moodle 2.1 and when uploading the file, overwrite the user data with the new auth-setting (nologin), Moodle clearly states that the nologin authentication will be set. However at the end it says that 0 users are updated. When ckecking the user setting, the old authentication method is still active
I have tried this with other authentication methods (ie CAS) and here Moodle not only promises to change the method, but actually does it.
Am I missing something here or is this a recurrence of the mentioned problem?
